She was an adventurer at heart; but...

"She was an adventurer at heart; but oh how she loved drinking this tea from this mug in this chair. Oh how she loved to be home."

I love this quote. It certainly struck a chord with me.

And herein is the dilemma: we want to explore, change and grow, but also, we want that feeling of comfort, belonging and certainty.

This constant pull and push can be so strong, that we end up stagnant, neither growing nor belonging.

The truth is, by getting out of your comfort zone not only do you grow, but you also then truly appreciate and know who you are, and where you belong.

Are you feeling either stagnant or out of your comfort zone at work? Do you feel like you need to change, improve or grow but are not sure how to go about it? What is it about you, as a unique individual, that is hindering you, or that could help you? What resources do you need to help you navigate this?

For support in your change, growth and development, contact me at Change Navigating - let's go exploring together and transform discomfort into growth.

Ps- I have tried and failed to find the author of this quote, if anyone knows I'd love to give credit.
