Do you want to develop your team into a high performing team, but don't know where to start?
I've always been interested in Teams and team dynamics. One of my proudest achievements dates back many (!) years to my gap year, when I coached rowing in a school in Melbourne and delighted in my 'B' team beating the 'A' team in the biggest race of the year, despite being an unlikely group of rowers compared to their tall strapping counterparts. How did we do it? I like to think it was thanks to coaching the team rather than the individuals. What they lacked in muscle, they gained in cohesion, and the strong motivation to improve their technique for each other. They would imagine a string going from head to head along the boat, and knew they had to work in complete unison for the best results, utilising each other's strengths.
We all know that teams exist because they can provide more value, solve more complex problems, be more innovative, than an individual can on their own. Unfortunately, often teams don't work as well as they could, they work as individuals rather than as a whole, which apart from anything else, results in a lot of untapped potential. But where do you start? How do you know what to develop to improve things? Team Coaching can help, and a diagnostic tool can help you know where to focus your efforts.
We are delighted to be able to offer the 'Creating the Team Edge' 360 Profile for businesses who want to challenge their teams to develop and grow into high performing teams. This diagnostic has been developed by leaders in the field of Team Coaching and is based on their extensive research into what it takes to be considered a high performing business team that consistently delivers high quality results efficiently.
Often teams know that their performance and cohesion could be improved, but they don't know where to start. This diagnostic brings together feedback from your team members, direct reports, and stakeholders on the 7 key elements of high performing teams. It helps you to identify the most impactful areas for your team to develop in order to thrive at work now and in the future.
